It is interesting to me that Barnes & Noble (bookstores in general) does not carry all the books in the world. When I was little, Borders (RIP) was my favorite place to be. I thought the shelves were endless. Every book written in English must have been in there, right? And then I go today to buy a few books for school, and out of eleven books, the store had only one, Moby fucking Dick. One cannot possibly hope to read every book ever written.
Russell and Katy were supposed to have gorgeous little babies with British accents who walk around asking for sweeties and singing heart-wrenching songs. She just got off tour :/ C’mon, Russell! The Yahoo article said Katy might’ve been blindsighted by this whole ordeal and if so, then I can’t believe Russell :/
Getting to the end of what you thought was the last book in a series and thinking "that was a crap ending, surely there must be more, there are too many loose ends," then checking online and finding that there is in fact one more book.
*Spoiler Alert for Pretties*
Unless you’re Eoin Colfer, in which case you never follow up on a book, even though you led me on to begin with, and just go on writing Artemis Fowl, which is good, but not as good as the book you led me on with and never followed through with.
Also, Scott Westerfeld. He who murders stories and ruins my life and makes me so frustrated by killing characters and maiming lives and then writing other random stuff like The Leviathan, which I currently own but have never read, when really he should be writing an Extras that has the main characters and brings Zane back to life and writing an epilogue to The Midnighters that makes everything better.
They make me so mad. I was driven to improper grammar and run-on sentences.
P.S. Anthony Horowitz, where is my copy of the next book in the series of The Power of Five. I mean, I know you wrote a Sherlock Holmes novel (I currently own it), but I thought you hated your adult fiction (even though I love it - The Killing Joke), so c’mon, get on that book for me and my friend, will you?
